Our community homes or apartments are located in traditional neighborhoods and emphasize family style living where individuals can relax and feel comfortable while spending quality time with family and friends. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, affordable, and inclusive environment. Typically, 1-2 people live at a residence. Each person we support not only enjoys their very own beautifully decorated room showcasing their unique interests and personal style, but also various home amenities they can call home.
Community homes are staffed by caring and qualified direct support professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when individuals are home. All of our direct support professionals are required to complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually and are trained in medical and behavioral supports based on the needs of the individuals and program.
Individuals receiving any supports that we deliver are treated with dignity, respect and supported through individualized programming. We encourage our residents to develop and maintain interpersonal relationships and become involved in meaningful daytime activities, including employment, volunteer work, faith- based, social, community and other self-directed activities.
